About

Emma Noonan

Emma, a worship leader from Reading, UK, is an independent Christian music artist who began recording and arranging her own music in 2020. Emma enjoys listening to indie folk, pop, dance, chill and Christian worship music.

She released her first album ‘Within the Silence’ in July 2022, which is a tightly crafted blend of alternative modern worship with a hint of indie-folk. A recurring motif that runs through her album is the need for reassurance, forgiveness and healing during times of darkness and uncertainty. Her lyrics are firmly rooted in scripture and Emma’s vision is to communicate the power of God’s unconditional love

After releasing her debut album, her song ‘In Denial’ was featured in the UK Christian music chart. In addition, her music has featured on Christian radio stations including UCB2 where she took part in an interview to promote her Christmas release ‘Prince of Peace’.

Emma released her second studio album ‘Bricks and Mortar’ in October 2023. The album, which was written from a place of worship, leans towards the indie-pop genre. Some of the tracks are contemplative; others are more upbeat with a lively dance vibe. Many of the songs are deeply personal; however, others are reimagined from alternative perspectives taken from well known Bible stories. The title track ‘Bricks and Mortar’ is about drawing closer to God. The song is a plea to the Father to break through the walls that we so often place around our hearts. It also draws on the album’s recurring motif of accepting God’s love, grace and guidance.

Emma released her 3rd studio album ‘Everyone Who Calls…’, which was produced by Phillip Goss at Apple Tree Studio, in April 2025. Her project involved writing and recording one song a month throughout 2024.

Alongside her vocal worship, Emma has set up a separate label: ‘Ambient Worship Collective’ in order to release instrumental music.

Combining piano driven Melodies with soft textures and soundscapes, Ambient Worship Collective, want to create a space for quiet reflection, Bible Study and prayer, which ultimately leads to a deeper relationship with God. Ambient Worship Collective released their debut album, a collection of pieces inspired by Genesis Chapter 1, in June 2025.

As well as working on their own project, ‘Ambient Worship Collective’ is also involved in a collaboration project with Christian recording artist, and founder of ‘Instrumental Worship Collective’, Kevin Winebarger, who lives in North Carolina, USA.

With a heart for collaboration, Ambient Worship Collective is eager to partner with like-minded artists locally and globally. Their vision is to create music that transcends boundaries, offering a universal invitation to experience the presence of God.

Emma is continually refining her mixing and mastering skills in her home studio, where she is crafting new vocal and instrumental worship tracks for future release.
