Now Streaming: “Yes, No or Maybe?”

I’m excited to share that “Yes, No or Maybe?” is now available on all major streaming platforms.

This song was written for anyone who has faced disappointment, unanswered prayer, or seasons of waiting. It explores the tension between trusting God for a breakthrough and trusting Him when the answer looks different from what we hoped for.

Sometimes God says yes. Sometimes He says no. Sometimes we’re left waiting in the uncertainty of maybe. Yet through every season, His promises remain true.

“Whether it’s yes, no or maybe, I’ll never stop trusting You.”

If you’ve ever wrestled with closed doors, silence, or questions about God’s timing, I hope this song encourages you to keep believing and keep trusting.

EMMA NOONAN ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE

‘YES, NO OR MAYBE?’

Christian singer-songwriter and worship artist Emma Noonan is set to release her latest single, ‘Yes, No or Maybe?’ on Friday 2nd October 2026.

Following the release of her third studio album, ‘Everyone Who Calls…,’ in April 2025, Emma has spent the past year exploring a quieter, contemplative side of worship through her Ambient Worship Collective label. This journey has included the release of ‘Prayer Room Collection,’ an EP of ambient instrumental music created to accompany moments of stillness, reflection and quiet time with God, released on 25th September 2026.

Now, Emma returns to her roots as a singer-songwriter with ‘Yes, No or Maybe?’ the first in a new collection of four vocal worship singles.

At its heart, ‘Yes, No or Maybe?’ is a deeply personal song about prayer – and the often-unexpected ways God answers.

With an honest and relatable perspective, Emma reflects on the joy of receiving a clear “yes,” the disappointment of a “no,” and the uncertainty of an answer that seems to be “not yet.” Yet rather than focusing solely on the questions that remain unanswered, the song becomes a declaration of gratitude: thankful for the yeses, thankful for the nos, and even thankful for the maybes.

“Sometimes it’s only with hindsight that we can see that the prayers God didn’t answer in the way we wanted were actually answered in the way we truly needed.”

That theme of hindsight runs through the heart of the song. What can feel like disappointment in the moment can, with time, become a story of God’s faithfulness – a reminder that His perspective is greater than our own.

Musically, ‘Yes, No or Maybe?’ blends indie-pop influences with Emma’s distinctive worship sound, creating a song that is both intimate and accessible. It is a song for anyone who has ever prayed for something with all their heart, only to find that the answer looked very different from what they expected.

A key scripture behind the song is Romans 8:28:

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

For Emma, this verse has been a source of encouragement through many different seasons, and its message sits at the centre of ‘Yes, No or Maybe?’: the invitation to trust that even when we cannot see the whole picture, God is still at work.

‘Yes, No or Maybe?’ marks the beginning of a new chapter in Emma’s music – one that brings together honest storytelling, contemporary indie-pop sounds and a faith that is willing to ask difficult questions while continuing to trust the One who holds the answers.

“A deeply personal reflection on prayer, surrender and trusting God in every answer.”

Exciting Updates and a Busy Year in Music

This past year has been an incredibly busy and rewarding season in my music journey. At the beginning of 2024, I set myself the ambitious challenge of writing and recording one song every month. I’m thrilled to share that I successfully completed this challenge, wrapping up my final song in December. The first couple of weeks of January have been spent putting the finishing touches on the recordings, and I’ve just sent everything over to my producer for mixing and mastering.

Next month, during the half-term break, I’ll be heading over to my producer’s studio in Aylesbury to finalise the album. I’m aiming for an Easter release, so the next few months will be all about planning the launch. It’s such an exciting time, and I can’t wait to share these songs with you!

In addition to this project, I’ve been working on a collaborative instrumental project with a Christian music producer in America. This has been under a separate label, the Ambient Worship Collective, and it’s been such a fulfilling experience to create music in a totally different style.

A definite highlight of the year was being nominated for a Christian music award in the Electronic Dance category at the AStepFwd Awards. Attending the red-carpet event was an unforgettable experience, giving me the chance to connect with other Christian artists and celebrate some amazing achievements in the industry.

Looking ahead, my next step will be to release the album online and organise a launch event. I’m still deciding on the album title and artwork, so there’s plenty to do in the coming weeks. But I’m excited to bring this project to life and share it with all of you soon.

Thank you for your continued support on this journey—2024 has been incredible, and I’m looking forward to what 2025 will bring! Stay tuned for updates as the album release gets closer.

A Musical Blend

20th December 2023: Lunchtime Coffee Shop Live Music Session at The Atrium in Reading.

Located on the fringe of Reading town centre, The Atrium, a vibrant and stylish coffee shop connected to Greyfriars Church, provided the perfect retreat for customers seeking an escape from the Christmas shopping frenzy.

The coffee shop regularly hosts local singer-songwriters and musicians. Today’s lunchtime music session blended songs from my most recent album: “Bricks and Mortar” with a selection of Christmas carols. As customers took their lunch break, the live session created a warm and inviting ambiance for customers coming in to read, work or catch up with friends. It’s a testament to the power of live music to transform a simple lunch break into a relaxing, soulful space.
